Dubcentral Residents Support Cool Beans Sharrow Festival Fundraiser at The Harley

BIG, BIG THANKS TO COOL BEANS FOR INVITING US TO PLAY AT THIS EVENT !

2013 is in the past everyone, forget about it alright! Move on with your lives! We are! 2014 is here now! IT’S HERE!

And what better way to start off a new year by getting involved with the local Sheffield community. Yes we are very happy to announce that our first event of 2014 is a fundraiser for the delightful Sharrow Festival.

The Sharrow Festival has been organised by local volunteers since 1996 and comprises of a full July’s day of activity in Mount Pleasant Park. Part of the celebrations also includes the Festival Fringe – a host of community activities in Sharrow in the weeks either side of the main event.

The Festival is a flagship event which celebrates the culture and diversity of the area, providing opportunites for thousands of local people to experience a wonderful day in Mount Pleasant Park. As it receives no statutory funding it’s therefore ever more important that the festival gathers revenue through fundraisers.

This is where we come in. We’ve organised an evening full of live music and DJs at everyone’s favourite watering hole – the Harley.

This includes live sets from the wonderful…

STEEL CITY RHYTHM
THE TEMPERTONS
WRECK THE PLACE
ANDREW DUXFIELD
CARL ‘ON FIRE’ WATKINS

And DJ sets from…

Arnivore (Cool Beans)
Baba G (Sequoia)
Cervo (Banana Hill)
Lonesome Dom (Clothes Line)
LK (Soulfood Soundsystem)
Mr. Meerkat (Dubcentral)
Mr. Skiver (Tough Breaks)
Papa Al (Juju Club)
Powlo (Thirsty Ear)
Rogue Fader (My Kinda Scum)

Plenty to wrap your collective ears round there, should be a big old Sheffield-driven bash. Naturally all funds raised go towards Sharrow Festival 2014.
